Pictures of the new catteries to come soon!
The girls now have an outdoor home as well!

Being relatively new to breeding, I have been fortunate to receive help and advice  from some very experienced breeders. Without their assistance I would not have been able to start up my breeding program and probably would not have persevered.

Thank you to:

Di Smith of Soremba Exotics for trusting in me, advising  and helping me get started with my  breeding program and entrusting me with Robinridge Figaro.

Robyn Gibb of Perchez Exotics and Persians for her words of calming advice and for entrusting me with her Bush Brat and our latest arrival Perchez Van essa. Also for teaching me how to groom a Persian for showing which is no easy task!

Les & Karen Pitkin of Kalem Exotics and Persians in Brisbane who have been open and willing to offer their advice. Thank you for entrusting me with Piper's Charm who has done well on the show bench in 2005 and for Oliver Twist who has given Excatic some very nice kittens in 2006.

What your cat does when you're not home

My biggest thank you goes to my partner, John, for his patience and support during the past five years. It is not easy living with a cat breeder and half a dozen cats. He is always the one to say "not yet" when I am ready to give up.

John has lovingly listened, encouraged, sympathised and made creative suggestions along the way. He built my lovely outdoor cattery according to my needs and has now set up this website for Excatic which he helps me to  maintain.

Hello, my name is Robyn. I live in the Southern Tablelands of NSW, between Goulburn and the Southern Highlands, Australia.

Excatic is a small cattery which has  been operating for the past five years. I am registered with  the NSW Cat Fanciers' Association  and I am a member of the Exotic Cat Club of Australasia.

I have always loved cats and always had at least one for a pet at any given time throughout my adult life. I fell in love with Exotics when I saw them on TV about 6 years ago. I promised myself that one day I would buy an Exotic for a pet. I never dreamt that soon I would be breeding them. That's the great thing about life!

A bundle of personality

3 week old Excatic kittens

All Excatic kittens are raised underfoot with the family, handled and petted frequently. They are well socialised, happy, healthy cats that enjoy human company and are used to mixing with other cats of all ages.

This cattery has now been dismantled and moved to Excatic's new southern home. The cats now have native bushland to look out on and native wildlife to watch.
